Quote:The New York State Attorney General has notified the Trump Foundation that it lacks proper certification to solicit donations, and has ordered it to stop immediately.

Quote:Sheehan wrote to the foundation, of which Trump himself is still president. The Trump Foundation has no paid employees, and its board consists of Trump, three of his children and one Trump Organization employee. They all work one half-hour per week, according to the charity’s most recent IRS filings.

Quote:“The Trump Foundation must immediately cease soliciting contributions or engaging in any other fundraising activities in New York,” Sheehan wrote to the Trump Foundation, of which Trump himself is still president."
and
Schneiderman ordered the Trump Foundation to supply the state, within 15 days, with all the legal paperwork required of charities that solicit money from the public.
and finally
In addition, Sheehan ordered that Trump’s foundation provide all the financial audit reports it should have provided in prior years, when it raised money without legal permission. He said that if Trump’s foundation did not stop its fundraising and file the proper paperwork, that would be considered “a continuing fraud upon the people of New York.”
Well that's it. I'm changing my vote to Honest Hillary. At least everyone knows the Clinton Foundation is totally legit.

D versus R, I would imagine.
I'm aware the Clinton Foundation has its issues. Would you care to discuss OP? Or are we just going to continue slamming our fingers into our ears in THIS thread?
Schneiderman is quite possibly the most political AG in the country. All he wants is the NY governorship and his partisanship is appalling.

This is the same guy that got b!tch slapped over his suit of Exxon.

Like he was going after foundations and companies that didn't believe in their version of global warming. Democratic Attorney Generals should not be allowed.

D versus R, I would imagine.

Governor Rod Blagojevich, a Democrat, was impeached and removed from office for corruption; he solicited bribes for political appointments, including Barack Obama's vacant U.S. Senate seat after he was elected president in 2008. Blagojevich was convicted and sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.

You are required in New York State to register with the Charities Bureau and to provide annual financial reports and annual audited financial statements

This is unfair as DJT is unfamiliar with New York politics.

If this were not being done a month before a presidential election by a person who actively supports Clinton, it might have some merit. But it is and therefore comes across as a weak partisan attempt to make Trump look bad, thus feeding into Trump's "me against the establishment" narrative.

Dems shouldnt make it so easy for Trump to be proven right.

Many red state AG's run on being tough on abortion with the goal of limiting/ending it. Fighting Planned Parenthood is just fulfilling campaign obligations and to those that are truly Pro Life, they are doing something within their power to try and limit abortions in their state.

Also, they go after Planned Parenthood all the time, not 1 month before an election.
