I was just reading an article on MAC football and realized that Bowling Green is giving up 55 points per game and is 1-3. What the heck has happened to Bowling Green ? Reminded me of my grandpas old saying - "The sun don't shine on the same dogs butt every day."
We broke their spirit 03-nutkick

Honestly though, their coach left for Syracuse before the bowl game last year, maybe the new staff is just suffering some growing pains.

BGSU's offence was their QB and WRs. All are gone now, plus they have a new coach. BG normally sucks, so I guess you can say that they are back to normal.

You can also add that they play in the MAC East which is a cake walk that makes some teams appear better than they actually are. Over the past 10 years the top MAC East team usually falls between #3 to #5 of the MAC West. This year it looks like Akron is the best in the East and all of the most experts have them behind Ball State in conference standings. That would put them as the 5th best in the MAC West.

Having seen both Akron and Ball State play, I think it is a stretch to say that Ball State is the better team. They are improved from last season, but even in the event of a shoot out, Akron would likely come out on top.
