wow just saw that Arnold Palmer passed away today....

sad day with him and Jose Fernandez, pitcher from the Marlins both passing away.
This one hurts.

He was a great man.
It's hard to believe he was only 87 since he's been a name forever.
I know what you I'm drinking tonight
It's amazing with Palmer- 2 of his biggest days in his life had so much going on....

today- with Vin Scully's last game, and the Jose Fernandez death.
June 16 '94- his last US Open round, but then also the OJ Simpson chase, along with the start of the '94 World Cup, and the NY Rangers parade after winning their 1st cup since '40. ESPN made a 30 for 30 on that day.

There was also basketball's version of the Heidi game as TV broke away from game 5 of the Rockets-Knicks to televise an SUV driving 40 mph down the freeway.
I grew up not far from Latrobe, Pa. in the Sixties.

Arnold Palmer was a God like icon in that area. RIP.
My hero!
Orlando lost a treasure. RIP Arnold
Well..........just order another one.

I kid. Rest in peace. May your version of Heaven be filled with gently rolling fairways and greens that all roll straight to the cup.
