Quote:Three Walmart workers in McDonough, Georgia refused to decorate a “thin blue line” cake for a police officer’s retirement party because they said it was racist.

A number of my Georgia readers alerted me to the story and on Saturday night I spoke directly with the police officer’s daughter. She asked that I not divulge her name and I’ve agreed to honor her request.

“I was so shocked,” she told me. “I didn’t know what to do or say or anything. I was trying not to lose my temper or make a scene.”

For the record, Walmart has confessed that most of her allegations are true. I’ll have more on that a bit later in this column.

The police officer’s daughter went to the Walmart on Willow Drive on Sept. 22 to order a flag for her father’s retirement party. He was leaving the force after 25-years on the job.

I am sure the cry from the left over this injustice will be forthcoming soon.
Let me do a Libturd here, "THOSE EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE FIRED"!
Try Publix. Their employees seem to possess a modicum of self-respect.
Yesterday My wife, daughter and I went to Walmart, We looked around and found what We needed and went to check out. There were over 20 registers available but only 3 were open. Now this wasn't a problem as there were only 2 people each in those lines. Well all 3 registers had trouble completing their actions as the cashiers were extremely slow and barely could understand English. They all screwed up the customers checkouts. It took almost 30 minutes to finally pay for Our items. This was repeated at all 3 registers. The lines grew to about 15 folks deep. No one offered to open another register even with 2 Managers running around answering questions from the Cashiers. I thought Walmart was now paying Cashiers top wages. Can't They get English speaking Americans to work there ?
Wal-Mart near me has just installed self-checkout stations. I use them exclusively now.

I only go to Walmart for cheap ammo. If I want crappy Chinese stuff I'll go to target or order online.
Black icing matters.

Don't they have self check out lines in your neck of the woods?

The ones here at both Walmarts are useless. They have malfunctioned every single time I have tried to use them. The last time I was there they ended up having to call over people from customer service to help because of all the people having trouble. I think I pissed the manager off when I told him that evidently Walmart needs to buy the same ones that Home Depot uses because they always seem to work.

I always go self checkout at Wal-Mart. The machines are friendly, unlike most of the employees.

Why would I go to Walmart for squirrel? I prefer organic free range squirrel, not some corporate farm grown squirrel harvested by some dirty illegal alien.

Wal-Mart Apologizes After Worker Refuses To Make “Blue Lives Matter” Cake For Police Officer Calling It “Racist”…

If the employees haven't been fired, then f'u Walmart....

Quote:Wal-Mart has issued an apology after one of its Georgia stores refused to make a “blue lives matter” cake for a police officer’s retirement party, according to WGCL-TV.

Taylor Wilkes, a friend of the officer’s family, posted on Facebook that employees at the Wal-Mart in McDonough called the message the officer’s daughter asked to have printed on the cake “racist.”

“That’s completely nuts,” one customer told WGCL.

Franklin Allen, the chief of the nearby Jonesboro Police Department, told WGCL he found the incident “heartbreaking” and indicative of recent hostility against police.

“Officers go out and put their lives on the line for people, regardless of color, creed, sex, or national origin. It doesn’t matter to us,” he said.

After the story gained attention on social media, a spokesperson for Wal-Mart issued a statement apologizing for the incident: “Our goal is to always take care of customers. But, sometimes we misstep. We’ve reached out to the family to make this right and offer our apologies.”
