Clemson beat GT last night, 26-7.

Cole Hunt just had a TD catch ruled out of bounds (right call). 6-3 TCU, 2:29 2nd Quarter vs. SMU.

Where's all the folks that said Hunt would never play TE at TCU. Would end up playing DE. Not only is he playing he's starting. Great move for him.

For a starting TE he isn't doing a good job. He has 1 catch for 16 yards.

I wish Humt all the success in the world, both athletically and academically. Hope he gets targeted a lot and gets a lot of catches and scores. But so far, his TCU career seems a lot like his Rice career.

His brother was a star there. I can understand him wanting to make his own mark there. Good luck, Cole.
Charlotte up on Owls (Temple variety) 7-3 near end of 1Q.

Owls go back up 10-7.
I think Georgia needed to go for that 4th and 1.

Own 25, down 24-0, 2 minutes left in half, I think it was time to roll all the dice.

ETA: They punted, Ole Miss got ball around their own 40, and scored. 31-0, almost halftime. Bulldogs unlikely to have gotten a worse result by going for it.

ETA2: 45-14 final. Don't know that going for it would have made any difference, but I would sure as hell have gone for it.

I guess part of why I'm posting is to show that I can criticize coaches other than Bailiff (including in this case Kirby Smart, whom I would have loved for us to have hired back when we could afford him).

Owls win, 48-20. (28-point 2nd quarter)
After losing to WKU by only 7, Miami OH leads Cincy at Cincy early in the 4th. Looks like Sayler picked a winner for HC. Doesn't make the UH win look quite as good.
Duke upsets Notre Dame 38-35. Wonder how we would have done? Oh wait...
Cincy hangs on to win 27-20 over Miami OH.
I got to see the fourth quarter of Duke-ND. I'm a Tarheel (one of the currently embarrassed/outraged/pissed off group at our athletic administration for their pathetic oversight) and have to say I'm still really pleased to see the dookies pull that off. Good for them.

We'd have probably given them a good game. We took North Texas to overtime.
Owls lost but at least my Twins postpone their 100th loss by one day with a Duffey win. 7 inn, 2er 4h 4so 0bb. Go Twins, Owls!

Good news indeed for Tyler.
Army lost in OT to Buffalo...
LSU scored last second TD to beat Auburn, except on review ball was snapped one second after the last second. Also, it appeared to me that LSU was never set for the play (procedure call which would have ended game) and quarterback was past line of scrimmage when he threw the ball (loss of down penalty). So I think they got the right result for at least 3 reasons.
After Stanford's last minute drive to take the lead and eventually win the Stanford QB and HC Shaw both said "we practice this all the time...we know what to do". I wonder how much of that is using the STRIVR system and if so what the heck do we do with ours?

I'm not sure that it does any good when the QB looks at only one receiver per passing play.
