Alright EMU tone it down. The "Pleasantville" style turf (grayscale) is bad enough. That pounding rave track repeating "throw your hands up in the air" turned to 11 for 2 minutes .... now you've gone too far.

Did we really just hit on social justice, taking a knee during the anthem, and racism before the 12:00 minute mark in the 1st quarter? In an EMU game? I tried CBS. I tried. I'm out.

I missed all that good stuff, but saw the on field march after EMU improved to 3-1.

I wasn't surprised that CBS wouldn't cut away from that. Kinda hoped some players would get provoked iinto some clothesline issuance, to be honest.

Hey EMUfans, I like your turf. If it's getting your team .750 on the field, keep rocking it.

I thought they did an OK job addressing it. Not mentioning it when they were on camera would have sent, however unintentionally, a message of its own. I wonder if CBS staying with the protest after the game for so long was possibly part of a deal brokered between police and protestors -- don't storm the field or track while the game's going on, and CBSSN will give you a few minutes of airtime and talk to one of your protestors. I can't imagine they'd stick around for long after the final whistle otherwise. And the protestors seemed didn't cause any real problems from what I could tell. They went to the field, then to the stands and chanted some. No harm on either side.

Plus the protestors did the school a favor; their presence probably ensured that this was EMU's biggest crowd of the year.

Also how is this game on here? If it is Wyoming vs EMU that is G5 v G5. That is not what you find in this thread.

Unless EMU has a surprise year, anyone losing to EMU is laughable.

As an EMU fan and a 1/2 Ypsitucky child, I agree, these students/protesters have very VALID reasons for protesting, and the school is reacting well to it. Uncalled for GTS. As someone leaning libertarian keep this schtick to the Spin Room please. The football team is 3-1 and that is all I could really care about at this point, this is a 10 win season for us in terms of relevance.

Yep, which shows you the type of program Wyoming has become. Might as well merge the state with Colorado or Utah (and split California in half so it's still an even 50).

I said it last year and I will say it again about EMU beating Wyoming:

USF gets TD 17 seconds in vs Florida State. And 12 seconds later FSU gets 75 yd TD run from Cook. 29 seconds in and it's 7-7.

couple of upsets by rankings but just good games...
