Quote:Saudi Arabian Prince Mohammed bin Salman, released a statement in June saying that the Saudis fund 20% of Clinton’s campaign. Federal Election Commission reports indicate Clinton has raised some $211.8 million. 20% of this sum is $42.4 million. It is against US law for a foreign entity to fund a US candidate. But Clinton’s ties to terrorist-sponsoring Saudi Arabia have a long history. In 2008, for example, the Saudis gave up to $20 million to the Clinton Foundation, which oft has been accused of laundering money to Clinton political causes. The Podesta Group, led by Clinton’s Champaign Chairman John Podesta, also receives some $200,000 a month from the Saudis for “public relations services.”

Current DOJ won't prosecute her, so not surprised.
And New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a Democrat and a member of Hillary's leadership council, has steadfastly refused to force the Clinton Foundation to release information on foreign donors.

But of course he has investigated Trump's foundation.

But Trump also has ties to Saudi Arabia. I call this a push.

Of course you do.... ignoring that one collected that money as an elected US official and the other collected it as a private citizen/business owner. We can clearly show what Trump was selling that they bought... what was Hillary selling?

How much have the Saudi's contributed to Trump's campaign?

If it's anywhere near 200mm, THEN it's a push.

The amount makes no difference to me. Trump has said that Saudi Arabia was behind 9/11 and yet still does business with them.

Most if not all of the terrorists on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia yet our government still does business with them.

It's a push.

Nope. I'm not going to vote for Hillary. I simply am not going to get all huffy over something that isn't going to be a factor in the election.

Ok. Accepting that equivalency you must be against the NC boycott by businesses who work with China and other oppressive governments. Boycotting NC but not China is hypocritical under you ideology no?

Wow... the strained logic here just confounds me.

Trump was a private citizen spending and earning private money. Hillary was an elected government official, spending and earning OUR money. Trump sold them hotels and golf resorts. Hillary sold them fighter jets and missiles. Since you like to avoid the original claim, which was that they're funding her election... what do you think they're buying now? Are they similarly 'buying' something now from Trump? If Hillary wants to sell them her own line of pantsuits or space on her private email server, no problem. If Trump were selling weapons, It'd be different.

Assuming the OP is correct, that they're financing her but not him, which of them is most likely (if elected) to turn a blind eye?

If you think that's a push, it's no wonder we disagree on so many things.

There you go folks, water carrying at it's finest. If one can not distinguish between a Secretary of State and a private citizen there is no amount of reasoning that can be done. We are in that much trouble. It's embarrassing.

Yeah, I saw that as well, but focused on the OTHER hypocrisy instead.

Weapons are the same as hotels and $200mm is the same as $2mm
