On a day when it poured during most of the pregame and at times came down during the game. Not a bad showing at all! The students didn't come out in huge numbers but look on the Bright side... NIU, nor BG will hit that number for years to come.

Toledo will travel 5k+ for EMU... Maybe more if we beat BYU.

BG will be 28k for homecoming
CMU could be a 1 loss or undefeated team for a night game in October... That crowed will be damn good as well.

What a fun year this should be!
I think we'll bring 1-2k to BYU if not more with the alumni holding a pre game event
Hmmm, you realize "k" means 1000, of that I'm sure. We'd really have that many in a game in Utah?
We had 300-500 at Boise for our Bowl game

Anytime the alumni brings a tailgate to an away game the number of Rocket fans triple. But, 1,000 may be too high
Wish someone would post photos of those things. I could live vicariously.

I had planned on attending but a work conflict emerged last week. Can't be in two places at once.
Hope we win and the Rocket fans who do attend have a good (GREAT) time.
If BYU game was on a Saturday, I would have traveled. I've always wanted to see a game in Provo. It looks beautiful. Darn high school commitments...03-hissyfit
I was at the Fresno game. My estimate was 8,000 in the seats.

At the beginning of the 2nd quarter? Would have been double Whitmers stadium. Id say more like 15k and lots of tickets were bought that didnt show up. We can fit a bunch in our press tower too... Dont forget them.... The crowd we had Saturday resembled the CMU vs Toledo crowd last season in Mount pleasant.

TV feed looked like you could count the people on the visitors side...looked like there was minimal student turn-out. It's too bad...this team is smoking the competition...should be packed rain or shine.
I think there were way more than 8,000.

West side looked good. guess it was hard for me to tell on the East side because that is where I was
Waaaaaaay more than 8K.
I was thinking 17-18,000 actually in the stands which given the iffy weather I didn't think was too bad. More students would have been nice.
Took my friend from South Carolina to the game. He commented multiple times how impressed he was with the turnout.

I was at game as well and I would estimate 5-10K actually were in the stands. Felt like a HS game. Embarrassing turnout in my opinion. This is a very solid football team, may be the best overall UT team I've seen in many years. Only concern I see right now is we have an inconsistent FG kicker.

It was clear to me it was at least half full, west side more so. 15,000 at least-5,000 is like the east side being full in the lower section only. Far, far more than that. Rain no doubt impacted attendance, but hardly a HS turnout.
Seeing the West and East sides into the game looked about 16,000.
