Anyone else think that if we had some extra depth on defense in the backfield that Phillips would likely have made a huge replacement for Braverman on offense?

Watching how he works in space... its hard to believe he's our best DB and not our best #2/1 WR.... I know that was the initial plan... but its incredible that this kid has transferred to the defense and been our lock down corner... in ONE year... we have a talent with this guy.... i just wish we had more depth at corner to allow us to use him on offense.
YES. Because if you can get INTs, you can get your own QB's passes. Now, with Lurry of NIU, you could say the same -- why not make him WR? Because if you ride off it, go with it. But in DP's situation, we had to transition him there -- IMO, to help develop + shore up our lack of D which will give us losses, but slow the bleeding.
And like the coaches said back then, it got DP on the field way more. And Fleck just wants him on the field as much as possible.

That was back when Braverman was on the other side though. But now he's an amazing talent as a DB like the OP said.
