Drew confirmed suspicions with a tweet about recruit Elijah Joiner attending "Hoops on the Green." The article from Rivals says his visit is the weekend of October 13, which is actually a Thursday.

We'll see what happens.

Does this mean we are hiring James Green as basketball coach.

And it probably means that no one in the UAB BB PR office has come up with a play in the present coach's name to match what they had with Haase.

There were some outside suggestions. I don't know whether it was because the suggestions came from out side or whether they wanted to trend "less silly", but they chose to go more mundane.

My favorite was Hoops Ehsanity.
