Mizzou is already in the rear view mirror.

My biggest question is the playing status of Shaq.

I assume that Roback and hopefully Shaq will be available Saturday.

Charlotte is a weak team and the game should be well contested by both teams.

Might be a toss up game.
Even though I haven't seen a line yet, I believe it will be a pick em game or CHAR might be a 1 or 2 point favorite.

EDIT: Shock - CHAR opened a 1 point favorite now EMU by 3 1/2.
I would guess Roback will be back, Vann will be out.

EMU should be the favorite in this game, and this is absolutely a must win.

Wyoming is the much, much improved team, and will be the 50/50 game.

How did Turner look? Is he ready to be a main contributor?

I do NOT know, but Vann didn't look seriously hurt.

He didn't have his helmet but looked okay otherwise.
Hello from Charlotte! If anyone's making the trip and has any questions I'll do my best to answer them here.

We're excited about the upcoming game with you guys. So far we've seen Charlotte can't hang with a Top 10ish team in Louisville, and can dominate a weak FCS team in in Elon. Saturday should be good gauge (I think for both teams) of where we really stand.

Looks like the 3rd best back on the team. Not gonna run as hard, or break tackles like Ian. Just needs to get about 10 positive carries to spell Ian, and pick up his blocking assignments on pass plays.

Don't think it is serious. Believe one of the announcers thought it might be a shoulder bruise. If he's not 100%, as good as Ian is playing, I would think they err on the side of caution.

Shaq is out this week, and potentially for a long duration, per Creighton during today's press conference.

I don't know if it is a separation, etc. but there were was no clue Saturday night of a really bad, painful injury.

Definitely have to give medical staff credit to go with caution even though at the time it didn't seem it was serious from our vantage point.

We now have Brogan back and options at the QB position.

I'm happy with these two QBs. We are in good shape.

Unless it reverts back to the QB juggling we saw with Roback/Bell. Always good to have 2 legit QB's, just hope they figure out a way to handle it better this time around. Almost always best to pick 1 guy and let him run with it. For the confidence of the team, and the chosen QB.

2 week trial run for both guys to determine the starter going forward?

Time for Turner, Banham, or Parker to step up.

Dear EagleTough,
I watched the Louisville/Charlotte game, and the Louisville quarterback ran all over the field. We don't have that kind of speed with our quarterbacks, but maybe this would be a good game to run some quarterback options? Louisville's defensive line was also very quick off the ball. Eastern's defensive line seems somewhat quick and maybe we can put pressure on the Charlotte quarterback.

Porter would seem to be the better run option roback the better passing option if he doesn't force the pasd
To be fair, it looks like Lamar Jackson (QB at Louisville) is going to run all over everyone. That kid is something special. We can take about as much out of charlotte's first two games as we can take out of ours. This will be a great barometer for where we are at.
