Good building block for Wyoming!

Great job coaches and players! See you Friday!
Need to beat Wyoming. No if ands or buts.
That was fun to listen to.
Sounds like the O-line was a little off (given the missouri performance shoulda had more rushing yards); Porter seems to need to be in a rhythem to consistantly make on-target throws; dbs still a work in progress; sounded like a lot of jawing and pushing and enu did a good job of not reacting.

Excited for next week.

Wyoming won over an FCS opponent today. They'll probably be favored by a couple points next week.

Got a shot for 3-1. Let's get it, boys!
Mizzou is beating Georgia right now, SEC Network.
Tremendous win!

Poter is legit. I was dead wrong about him.
Great Win for Coach Creighton and EMU Football!!!!
Stats:

Pretty simple guys:

Passing was very effective.

Rushing was not.

The defensive front (e.g., sacks, TFL, etc.) was good.

INTs (two of them) was good for EMU teams (which don't get many INTs).

FWIW, nationally ranked Georgia came from behind to beat Mizzou by 1.

Mizzou isn't a great team but is a good SEC team.

I don't think we gave them as much credit as they deserve.

I didn't get to watch it or listen to it, so I went over the stats last night. Except for the turnovers, statistically the game was very even. As you pointed out we didn't get a lot on the ground and that concerns me. Some thought we were going to be able to pound the ball on them.

Yes rushing concerns me.

I do not know if CHAR opted to defend the run instead of the pass.

It might have been a case of CHAR 'picking their poison...'
Dear steve,
That's exactly what the Eastern announcers said. Charlotte stacked the box, which basically let us throw the ball.
Correct Ken the radio announcers said Charlotte was daring porter to beat them through the air which fortunately he did glad to see our offense isn't a one trick pony all three of the junior college wrs van play we gripe about emu recruiting but someone is doing a solid job of scouting the juco ranks

I feel 'knowledge challenged' - I listened to the CHAR announcers. 05-nono
Spot on. Charlotte went all out to stop the run, playing very aggressive with their LB's. Good strategy, figuring our green Juco QB and receiving corp would have to beat them.

Which they did with flying colors!

Good win. Score should have definitely been more lopsided, but we gave them the 2 ugly 4th qtr scoring drives, courtesy of 4 or 5, 15 yard penalties.

Is what it is, but need to clean that up against Wyoming.

Hey..........where did the Charlotte trolls go?????????? 03-lmfao
Just dropping by to say congrats on a good OOC win and good luck against Wyoming. 04-cheers

Steve, Steve, Steve... You need to listen to WEMU online. Matt and Rob are the nest! I just love it when Matt gets excited when there is a great play. He can't help but growl. Great stuff!

The problem is usually syncing up the webcast and the radio broadcast.

That won't be a problem Friday night.

Regular television and WEMU usually synch up well.
This comment is 12 days early:

On October 1 EMU plays at BG.

After that game Ferris State plays at Findlay. Reggie Bell is tearing it up for Ferris...
