That and Houston being upset would work well

I think we want Houston to win out finish in the top 4 and make the playoffs. We will be the highest non P5 team to make a BCS bowl.
QB from Louisville , Jackson looks and playing like a Heisman candidate. Holy crap!

Houston is not a P5 school. I thought the last playoff spot was for non P-5 conferences. Been wrong plenty of times before so not quite sure
There is one New Years 6 bowl slot for non p5. Not a playoff spot.

If Houston were to make the playoff I'm not sure if that automatic bowl spot wpuld open up.
We need Houston to lose.....lose at least twice.

Houston starting quarterback Greg Ward is out today. Quarterback Kyle Postma was just announced as the starter vs. Lamar.
CMU's D looks tough against Ok. State
Dare I say that Army could start the season at 2-0 for the first time in forever. Up 21-7 over Rice late in the 2nd quarter.

Looks like last year's game.

Also...

Chips gonna be a load in the MAC
Chips do look good. Them and Toledo will be our toughest tests.

After our Northwestern win, places were saying it was going to our toughest game. Well, that's assuming Northwestern was going to be the same as last year, but even considering that, given it's 1st game, not-so-talented QB with a low-end O -- not necessarily. Plus, we don't know if Northwestern's going to contend for their division title.

GB
--- @CMU -- Never forget '00. Never forget that @CMU is no easy task, previously near impossible. They're not a 6-6 team, and have a capable coach again.
0.5 Toledo -- it's at home, but Toledo Looks Good and hasn't missed a beat since last year it seems. Plus, they want revenge.
1.0 @Northwestern -- this is by assumption. Could maybe be tied for #2, possibly #1, but also, possibly #4
1.5 @Illinois -- we'll find out at the end of the night to see what kind of team Illinois is with Lovie.
2.5 Northern Illinois -- they may be polished by the time we face them after some games
One thing I like about Fox sports is they don't keep babbling about how a MAC team should not be competitive in a game against a P5 team like ESPN does. They are giving CMU a lot of respect.
To be fair to NIU, Wyoming is looking pretty legit in Lincoln today.
Nicholls took a brief lead and UGA answered and now lead 20-14.
Oddly I'm rooting for CMU as a fellow MAC team
CMU tied it -- then OKSt marching at will, held to a FG. 20-17, OKSt.

And yes, Wyoming looks pretty legit. 24-17, Nebraska.
