I've always been under the impression it was the private email server that was the issue not the email account itself

Powell used a non state dept email account but did not use a home brewed easily hackable server

Bingo.

I haven't seen him for a while and when this news pops, Mach just comes out of nowhere. 03-lmfao
Extremely busy. I was dumb enough to start coaching football again. School starting also. Layin Low.
He used a personal email account to communicate with friends. He used a secure State Dept computer to manage classified information.

It's in the article. Powell is not any kind of defense for Hilldog.
Who cares what Colin Powell did 15 years ago? I didn't even have the email in 2001 and had to go to the university library just to get online and wait 5 minutes for ESPN.com to load just to check scores. There was very little guidence, if any, on cyber security best practices. Technology has evolved a little since then. Has nothing to do with the current environment.
Yea, this email release sounds like the democrats were hoping people were stupid enough not to know the difference between what Powell did and what Hillary did. Given the OP, sounds like they've succeeded in at least one case.

I figured I would see what y'all said about it. CNN has gotten to be like reading Huffington Post or Breitbart. Have to take anything there with a grain of salt and probably not worth reading.
So even if what Powell did was illegal or unethical, do two wrongs make a right now?
Doesn't matter if Powell robbed a bank and advised Hillary to do the same.

In the liberal's goo ga land. Yes.
These things evolve. The e-mail thing will only bother the hyper partisans that wouldn't have voted for her anyways. Anyone who prefers Hillary will conveniently dismiss any accusations because her predecessor did enough of the same things to convince us of that. Any argument that you bring up will fall upon deaf ears because both sides have been conditioned that way. This gentleman is what I am saying and I have continued to say. The whole affair is hyper political and used as a GOP research expedition. Let's go fishing here for x so we can use our findings here in y.

and for the UofM character who I personally loathe to converse with....... I scoff at your "stupid enough" characterization. Your personal commentary lowers the collective IQ of the spin room 10 points. You are as sharp as a bowling ball.
Has anyone accused Hillary of lying about the exchange with Colin Powell?

Yes. Powell did.
Duhhhhhhhh. yes. This exonerates her no matter what you guys think. If I'm her I take no further questions on the email because they are inherently biased.

How? Powell might've told her to use a personal account, but did he tell her to get her own insecure email server and to send and receive classified information?
Criminal is not hyper political.

Actually that's not entirely true. The left dismissing the criminal is hyper political.

Mach won't answer that right now. He's in liberal goo ga land right now.
the issue wasnt the private email server per se, it was the communication of classified information over a private email server. I don't think Powell ever advised her to do that.
Moving goal posts.

Next.

It only matters to you righties. Get that through your thick anti science misogynist minds..............................

See how easy this will be to deflect...........

Enjoy the next 8 years of the Hilldawg. The Trumpist has no chance.
