Try capitalizing some letters at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns. I inow Wyoming had a late night and all but geez. And your link doesn't work.

He still has better capitalization than John.

Well only wanted one copy so, pasted title from the link and cut out all the html 03-wink
Maybe a little Texas poaching, combined with snagging a couple teams from the FCS. UTEP, Rice, Montana, Eastern Washington?
Interesting--didn't they just vote earlier this year NOT to expand? If the AAC was raided by the Big12 I wonder if SMU and Tulsa would be poachable.

The MountainWest will not take any F CS programs
Maybe Thompson called up Aresco and convinced him that it's time to combine forces and make a super conference?
I hope they do add Arkansas state.

After discussions with our staff yesterday - no
Montana and Eastern Washington make sense. I'd stay away from Texas schools as that would just cause issues down the road.
Sounds like Thompson wants to add Rice before the AAC adds Rice (which seems like it may happen if we lose Houston).
Yeah, I can't see any merit in just adding UTEP and Rice. I think you need to go big (4-6) to make it be worth it. I mean if you want to be charitable and add NMSU and Idaho, go right ahead, but I think the MWC covets Texas TV markets more than that.
Based on the interest the MW is getting. I think there are several options. Have to wonder if getting teams in sooner than later is what he is hinting to the MW presidents for the new TV contract coming up in 3 years.
I'm thinking more or less a UTSA/Tx. St combo or a N. Tex/Tx St combo as a possible start. The big issue for UTSA is the basketball facility is like a high school gym. Tex. St is not there academically or the MW...N. Tex is and could be a N. Tex/Rice.

This also states that BYU isn't an option and the MW isn't an option for BYU if they don't get into the Big 12.
Got to believe rice would prefer the AAC. Utep, utsa, north Texas and Texas state could all work. I wonder how long it would take for those schools to outshine the private AAC Texas schools

You mean SMU...since that is the only private AAC Texas school...?
Well it depends if Air Force or Colorado State are taken by the Big 12. If not then I see the Mountain West only going to 14 Teams, my guess would be North Texas & UTSA as the 2 members to join and then they would have to look to add an Olympic sports member or force Hawaii to join in all sports or let them go. If they went for an Olympic sports add then I think Wichita State would have a great shot at being in the Mountain West.
