This one should be over by halftime. AP went 0-11 last season, and have a new HC this year. [/b]

Look like your Trojans thought so too, you guys are down 14-13 in the 2nd quarter.

AP is 1-35 over the last 3 years.

Troy is handling the game well. I expected there to be some trouble since our coaches said they had no film to go by. They weren't sure at all what to expect from Aus in Peay's offense or defense.

Once Troy coaches figure them out, it'll be done.
I hope so given how bad a FCS AP is and has been for quite some time.
Troy RB Jordan Chunn already has 8 rushes for 130 yards, still the 2nd quarter.
Halftime 30-14 Troy
Not exactly the cleanest Troy performance. Not that it matters against Peay.
It's what I expected. Neal Brown said Troy would be vanilla for a lot of this game. I'm sure they are wanting to get everything geling and testing things.

Troy ha's over 300 yards passing and almost 300 yards rushing.
50-17 with 10 mins left
Final... TROY wins 57-17

Troy's 706 yards of total offense ranks third all time behind the 736 vs. Alsorn in 2008 and 721 vs. Tennessee in 2012.
I was just flipping through ESPN3 and saw a little of this game...

I know it was Austin Peay, but your RB Chunn is an absolute monster. And your DE #44 was giving AP's o-line hell.

Troy looks good.
A couple notes from the media department:

After giving up 14 points to Austin Peay in the first half, we held them to 37 yards of offense in the second half. That makes me feel better about giving up so much early on. Coach Brown also said that with their new coaching staff, we had no idea what they were going to run and had to make adjustments on the fly. Although it was Austin Peay, we did a great job of making the proper adjustments to shut them down in all phases of the game. Coach Brown also said before the game that he was going to play a lot of guys in our first two to three games. More than 25 players made their FBS college football debut Saturday.

All around a good showing by Troy. As tennischamp pointed out, RB Jordan Chunn is an absolute monster. He's going to do good things for us this year. DE Junior Gnonkonde (transfer from UNC) had his name called a lot Saturday. He and Dillard will be a force in the SBC.
