Well, I just read this entire thread and have to say something. A bunch of you need to step off that ledge atop the Gilmore Building. I hate losing too and when the deficit gets to 10 or more points I find something else to do. But, the way some of you reacted to the opening drive of the first quarter in the first game of the season speaks volumes. Yes I know we are playing one of the perennial also ran teams in the Big Ten, but they still are a Big Ten team and one of the top 3 in the Big Ten last season. Almost none of you gave the coaching staff a chance to make in game adjustments after their touchdown. But yet, they tightened up and clamped down and we did what we do better than any other team in the country, including Northwester, we controlled the time of possession by a wide margin.

I told you all earlier this week when everyone was talking about Northwestern controlling the T.O.P. with their running game, that we have a 3-headed monster running game behind Terrell and our running game will be able to have a say in who controls the ball the most.

Remember, our season doesn't ride on OOC wins (But a win helps our ranking). Our season depends on MAC wins and championships.

Go Broncos! Make a statement this half.

Just about.

Defense definitely is better than last year!

Wait wait. I thought I read here that the D is suspect and porous.

Don't confuse an old man. Just the facts. No hyperbole. Just the facts.
Terrell is playing smart.

Put away the butter knives and pipe cleaners.

Loosen those sphincters.

A NU touchdown.

You can count on NU running the ball to wear down the DL forcing the backside up into the box.
Relax guys. Everytime i have wanted WMU to win, they have won. You all have my blessing and desire for a victory, you'll be fine

Brown ran himself into a block on that one... He's gonna take some learning lumps and he just got himself caught in a bad angle... Why do we keep trying to tackle this huge back by his shoulder pads?

Wait, I read here somewhere earlier that Caleb #8 stinks. Same guy?

No No its cmu that stinks!!!!

Agreed but how do you get CMU out of Caleb Bailey?

Someone isn't owning up.
Interesting side note.

Luke Juriga's Dad, Jim, played at Wheaton North HS the same school as Clayton Thorson the NU QB.

Fighting Falcons.
Keep racking up those first downs.

Yup. Eat up yardage and clock. Let the D rest up make adjustments because you know NU is keep coming at you.
Nice move to line up your best line man on the same side to get that conversion.

Excellent call.
Bogan cannot be stopped
7 minute advantage in T.O.P.
Bogan excels in short yardage situations.
SECOND EFFORT! Bogan wants this win.
T.O.P. Margin nearing 10 minutes.
