I dont buy into this all that much but glad its still going....49th consecutive sellout and all season tickets have been sold for the 8th consecutive year.

Are they offloading the tickets for cheap to a local business?
Could they sell the left overs for $1 each to say Norfolk Southern and say it was a sell out?

Can they do something like that?

Sure they can. Not saying they do, but they could. I just want the streak to hit 50 so we can say forever that we sold out our first 50 games. After that, what happens, happens. It will be nice to keep the season ticket sellouts going for a while too.

Yeah, I would imagine if it were UMass or Marshall we wouldn't have trouble selling it out but UTSA might be close and need to sell bulk the last bit to keep it alive for 50.

UTSA is homecoming. I can't imagine they will have a hard time with that one.

I think they want to hit magic number 50. Good benchmark and maybe they let the chips fall where they may afterwords.

UTSA is also Parent's Weekend. Single game tickets might not hit the general public.

UMass will be the struggle with students on Fall Break.

I honest think the administration will push and push hard for the streak to continue for this season. The 2017 and 2018 schedules will almost assure the SELL OUT streak continues.

After that the new stadium will carry us into a new surge of excitement for the program. The goal of the administration is to get us beyond this year, the rest will take care of itself.

Eh, it's a cool selling point, but what matters is if it's full on the day they show up for a visit.

Shiny stadiums and cool looking uniforms are what matter. Glad to see that ODU put a black uniform in rotation for this year. I don't know why the youngsters like it, but they seem to love to see a solid black uniform.

Does anybody remember how we used to laugh at Drexel for boasting about selling out their 2500 seat gym for basketball?
