ESPN just reported Miami has dismissed two starters on the defensive unit, things are looking better and better for the game in Boone
9 more to go. Plenty of time...
its funny, but with the reputation Miami has, would bet against them losing a few more.

Mark Richt doesn't put up with much nonsense. You could be right.

It is actually 3. Another player who was kicked off the team earlier in the year. They represented the top 3 tacklers on the team. Three of the four guys now in the running for the startiing spots are true freshmen and one is a redshirt freshman. The third player, Juwon Young, was kicked off the team and enrolled at rehab U, better know as Marshall.

Earlier in the year Miami suspended starting RB Mark Walton for DUI and driving with a suspended license, but he is still shown on the roster. They also dismissed starting kicker Jon Semerene.
Sounds like Richt is going for a complete rebuild.
Richt has always tried to hold his players accountable, when he was at Georgia, players for the most part behaved themselves. As far as this Miami season, it looks like he is willing to sacrifice a few more wins, in exchange for making an example of the troublemakers, and set a standard of how he expects his players to act.

Richt is a class act. Georgia fans will learn to hate the day they let him go.
I'm not so sure Richt is the reason for the tough discipline standards while at UGA. If I recall correctly, his first few years there were a lot of problems that embarrassed the UGA pres. I think Adams, the president, is the one who put a system in place that suspended/removed athletes based on what they did and previous problems. This system or standards are stricter than most of their peers. It will be interesting to see how Kirby handles the internal rules.

Then Richt learned a lot while at Georgia, because Miami's administration thru the years hasn't been known for punishing the rule breakers, infact its been quite the opposite, see the problem, turn your head, pray the problem goes away.

Maybe so but remember Richt came to UGA from Florida State and played at Miami. He had a lot to learn.

thUGA was never far from the Fulmer Cup crown under Richt
GA Southern fans busting on UGA. Who would of thunk it?

It is not busting if it is true. uga is a staple in the top ten in the fulmer cup. Teams come and go but uga even under richt was usually was near the top if not winning it. They are currently #2 in the rankings. 07-coffee3

False.
You guys have got this go out there and kick some fanny.

as say this, for all the GS fans who dislike Ritcht, you can take pride in the fact that by almost beating his team, you probably helped push his out the door.

Nobody is saying they disliked him but the notion his program was not one of the worst year in and out for players getting arrested is false. It was one of the worst if not the worst.
