#7 - Georgia State

I keep waiting for this program to bounce back, since they have a knack for attracting good transfers. And they have four of them on the roster this year. So, this pick might be low if things gel for them.

GSU's problem last year was a familiar one: they have one of the better big men in the conference in Jeremy Hollowell - who wants to spend too much time on the perimeter shooting three-pointers, which he does with only marginal success. He shot a lot, but did not shoot very well, and guards Isaiah Williams and Jeff Thomas shot the 3 much better. So, they got pounded on the boards by 4 per game.

GSU should return two starters, with Isaiah Williams and his 9.3 ppg also coming back. They continued to play their outstanding defense, with opponents shooting only 40.9% against them.

With Markus Crider and T. J. Snipes gone, they have to find a game on the inside.
