RB @Aj_brooks4 (pictured) and WR Will Ulmer practiced with UAB today

Enrolled and practicing...
He is practicing w/ the team today - along w/ JUCO RB Anthony AJ Brooks. Both are big time talents.

WR chart has seen biggest jump from spring practice. The staff has added Ronald Turner, Will Ulmer, Sederian Copeland, Andre Wilson, Collin Lisa, & more.

Skill position guys are easier to find. The staff has built this team up the right way in my opinion.
I don't think a lot of people grasp how much talent is on campus. This will look nothing like anything we've ever put on the field and we've got another recruiting class to go
we need much much more depth, very talented on the surface though.

This was also by design I'm sure. Have to balance the classes still or we run the risk of utsa-ing it. I have a feeling we will be just fine by the start of next season.

solid point. UTSA peaked way to early.

Good comparison. They are building it back up again though. They have either the #1 or #2 recruiting class for 2017 in CUSA.

The quality and depth of the receiving core is quite impressive.
We have TWO more recruiting periods coming up. The Dec. JUCO period and then the Feb. NSD will complete the annual process. A few of both may be able to enroll for the spring 2017 semester and participate in spring practice. Due to UAB's "special circumstance", we may also be able to attract even more transfers than usual all through the coming year (now to Aug. 2017).

Our golden period of "specialness" is about done. The "clock" has stopped for those who are in our program, but anyone coming after this season can no longer take advantage of that situation. In a few months, our program will be back in the same situation as everyone else. Our next signing class will be under the same rules as everyone else's signing classes. But, we've done well. Despite losing the guys we signed that didn't qualify and suffering the tragic passing of Greg Bryant, we have built a strong foundation. We need depth now!

What is that expiration date for UAB's "special circumstance" after which any D1 transfer must sit out the 2017 season? I was under the impression it would run through next summer.
The high schoolers we sign for 2017 will receive nothing short of a historic 4-5 years for an NCAA football program.
We have about 38 of the 45 coach said we would have.
