Just wanted to see if any Bobcats out there know anything about this. I'm curious is the alcohol sales at Baseball games went well and if we were going to see the same thing happen this year for Football games.
Looks like there will be beer at a minimum. The coupon on season tickets for concessions states that it cannot be used for alcohol.

So, who does allow it in the SBC? I know we do, and so do the Cajuns.

Well season ticket holders can buy beverages in the Champions Club. It could very well be for that. Hopefully its definitely going to happen this year.

Oh that's right. Someone on Bobcatfans is claiming they know what beers will be served so maybe it's stadium wide.

I believe that they're expecting the same "slate of Beers" offered during the past Baseball season to make an appearance at Bobcat Stadium this Football Season . . .

Baseball was kind of a Dry Run, pardon the Pun, for alcohol sales at Athletic Events. As that went off without any major or minor problems, I believe they've Green Lighted Beer Sales for Football . . . .
Georgia State does. Come get all the beer and liquor you want!

Smart. The fears about this are unfounded. Most students are not old enough and or have the cash to buy a ton of beer and alcohol while at the game. Most fans just want only want to have a beer or two and not spend $50 dollars trying to get lit. We are adults and anyone that is going to get hammered at the tailgates. Instruct the folks not to serve to over intoxicated people and cut off sales in the 4th qtr. Pretty simple.

Sales are cut at the end of the half. You'd have to be pretty diligent to get lit. It is pretty smart.
It's sold at Ladd (city owned) and the Mitchell Center and Stanky Field (on campus). I'm sure there's an idiot or two that can't handle the privilege, but I've never seen any problems. It sure enhances the experience on a warm spring day.
You can drink in the club and the suites at ASU

As for Texas State, well your fans will need a lot of booze to get through this season.

I can't make the games any longer so I catch them on TV or online. I have an unlimited supply of booze at my disposal and I can leave and return at half time. That no return policy coming back sucks eggs.
