I see him blooming into a MAC POY.
Wonder why I'm reading on Twitter that Flowers committed to Oakland University?

That's one of Flower's Twits. The real JB. James Beck a 6'7" fwd who committed to the Drizz.

But nothing on MF's own Twitter re commitment. So 90's like. 07-coffee3

Nice pick up.

Read precious little about him through the summer as opposed to a host of others. Had no feel as to his lean and honestly wasn't sure he even played AAU this year.

Now go get Nana!
Congrats on Michael Flowers. Steve Bell has him highly rated for the 2017 MI senior class.

Reportedly EMU had offered Flowers.

We're seeing a mini-run of prospects Bell has ranked 10 - 19, including Beachler (CMU) and Beck (Oakland). We believe Epps is still committed to EMU (he announced for EMU a long time ago).

They well may be done. But then they well not be.

If the objective is to get to the NCAA tournament (every year) you don't settle on talent. If you see someone who is or can be much better than what you have you are a fool to not pursue it.

It's been decades since the "4 year" scholarship. It is based on a year by year. Nana was offered last year AFTER Kennedy and Davis had SIGNED. Why offer? He is continuing to be recruited AFTER they SIGNED Jones, Ignoskul, Printy, Randall and Johnson. Why?

Because they feel he is that good. So if he is, even though you have those 7 and then add Clifford and Flowers why stop?

You shouldn't.

Without names I envision 4 candidates who could have a sit down in the spring and be told as Hordemann, Harris, Mastosivc and Svete were that PT isn't showing up on the radar for them and that a new course is recommended. You can make a mistake doing it (Mario) but I believe there were political ramifications in not having that talk with Kellen. So Mario was the odd man out.

I have no evidence of such. Pure speculation. But IMO based on logic. If this past class was an attempt to improve athleticism why stop? In addition I would not segregate athleticism from skill and I don't think Hawk implies that. A "shooter" doesn't imply sloth like feet. It may, but I don't think that is how Hawk defines it. IOW, Nana has the skill level and the athleticism to push and pass incumbents. Why not improve your program?

And re the Nigerian Nightmare I referenced earlier post, I simply read something, delved into it some and so far the data is murky and inconclusive. Don't know where that is going and why for that matter.
Reminds me of another Southfield point guard, CMU's Giordan Watson. He was fun to watch. I looked him up and he is still playing in France. His college numbers were really good by the way.

Watson was from Birmingham Groves.

Flowers had a low profile in AAU as his club, 1 Nation, was basically Josh Jackson, and he's not around anymore.

Do you mean he went to high school there? I always remember his hometown being listed as Southfield, and that's what I'm seeing online even as recently as 2015.
