Got an email that the old CUSA Digital is now CUSA TV

Lot of money to pay for such scanty coverage. 1 football game most weeks. 1 basketball game most weeks. Ridiculous.
We had tweets that the ODU and UMass game will be carried and the time is set for 6PM, Oct 8th.

It's now listed on our football schedule page.

So, is this going to be the same old scoreboard feed access that we paid for last year, or will there actually be some semblance of a "production" this year?
crap on it.
On one hand I'm worried it will be the same old score are feed but on the other I'm hoping this could be the beginning of an eventual tv channel
They only have soccer and volleyball for Marshall......no thanks.

For this CUSA.tv effort to have any chance, they really needed to negotiate having this also serve as an end user connector with the BeIn and ASN streams. For example, Marshall has 8 games on BeIn or ASN (in addition to 2 owned by ESPN and 2 owned by CBSSN), and absolutely 0 football games remaining for CUSA.tv. There is no reason for a Herd fan to buy this service unless they are really wanting to watch Marshall soccer. There could have been an opportunity to find mutually beneficial angles with the new TV partners (especially BeIn, ASN, and CampusInsiders) to find a better way to market this service and give the partners additional eyes on their streams.

This seems like a lost opportunity. I would probably have bought if there were more football and basketball inventory both around the league and with my team. Because they have it farmed out 6 different ways, it just doesn't make sense to buy this. If there were 5 or 6 league football games each week available through a package service or a majority of the basketball league games available, then there's some interest there.
