For Sun Belt football junkies -- it was announced this weekend that our Thursday night game will be on ESPN3. I'm told we're also getting picked up on cable/satellite by the Altitude Network.

Don't worry. We'll be fine for this one. Our offseason sucked, but not because of coaches/players.
They want to get in on the burgeoning soon-to-be (again) Big Sky rivalry.

Hey, Montana St. is one of the very few teams in the Big Sky I'm not depressed about playing.

I wish they would have picked up the game vs. UNLV instead. I know I'll be at the MSU one but actually going to Vegas is the only way to see the game against the Rebels.
IF it weren't for App and Tennessee being on I would watch that game. Will be interesting to see the number of people who show up given you are going to be conference mates again soon.
Is MSU as good as they were a few years back? That is going to be a tough game.

That game will get picked up by someone...Probably Altitutde or something.

They were 5-6 last year, lost their starting QB to Oregon, and have a first year head coach. Probably won't be the strongest team they've fielded. That said 5-6 Wofford took us to the wires last year so I'm not expecting a blowout. This year's Idaho team has improved all the way around but there's no way I'm counting MSU out of this one.

That'd be nice. Tickets to the UNLV game look pretty cheap if that doesn't end up being the case though.

Yeah. Looks like a bit of a transition year for them. They've been getting picked around 8th in the Big Sky this year. I'd like to think Idaho comes out with a bit of a chip on their shoulders for this one, and I'm anxious to see if all the defensive depth stories coming out of camp are accurate.

MSU was bad defensively last year. So were we. I'm relatively confident we outgun them at home, but I bet MSU will find ways to get into the high-20's to low-30's.

Nevada news outlets seemed oddly emphatic a few weeks ago that there would be no TV for the game. Mountain West schools can be hard to find on cable/satellite/streaming sometimes.

Depth would be nice to see. That was a huge reason for all those blown fourth quarter leads last year.
