This will just be a simple no frills tailgate since those that might come are coming straight from work & will be pressed for time. If not enough people sign up to attend, will just try a pregame meet & greet somewhere
Where is the exact location of the setup?
We could just meet at Dreamland for a sandwich and a drink.
Setup I assume will be in the parking lot next to the soccer field like it was during spring games in the past w/ parking being at the lot across the street at the baseball/softball field. I'm going to verify that is where we would setup when I renew my bball tickets this week.
I'll be coming straight from work. I like the meet and greet.

I'll do the food, cooking & setup for ya'll so all you have to do is show up & eat, I just need numbers to know how much I need to do/buy. I know that many will be coming from work so I won't be expecting anyone else to do any meats/sides etc. It's all on me 'cuz I'm just that kinda guy

I am trying to make it simple & easy by burgers/chips type thing. I do wish they would do these on the weekend as I think fan attendance would be better. Hopefully the one in Nov will be on a Sat.
I've not gotten definitive answers yet but I'll have the canopy set up either in the older parking lot where we'd normally set up for spring game (lot 15f/7 IIRC) or in the parking lot across the street at the softball/baseball field. I sent a message to Brad/Erin since they're promoting tailgating with the groundbreaking & all that it might be a good idea to have a section for canopies to set up in. Look for the white tent w/ grill & tables
The wife and I will put in an appearance.
I'll be there. I'll at least bring chips, dip, and utensils. I'll check back closer to Monday and see what's still needed. I'll also bring my two tailgate chairs.

I'm. Just bringing myself. I have to travel south immediately after.
I will not be able to make it to this one.
There will only be 2 of us at the tailgate,, the other 3 will not get there until near kickoff. What can we bring to help out??
BD - thanks - if you/wifey can do some kind of side/dessert to go w/ burgers/chips that'd be fine or nothing but yourselves.
Attalla - you bringing any adult beverages other than personal consumption?
Since I'm going to be off, I'm going to try to see about setting up in the parking lot next to the sand volleyball/old soccer field (Lot 15f/7 IIRC) where we'd normally tailgate for the spring games. If not there look across the road in the parking lot for the baseball/softball fields. I sent an email to Brad asking him about partitioning off a place for canopy tailgates & he forwarded it to an Erin but never heard from her so don't know what they've got going. I did see that the Alumni will be setting up but it sounds like they will be in the "back 40 field" between the lot I'm talking of & Bessie Estelle Park. So all I can say is look for my white canopy & me under it w/ the grill/tables.
Update, just got email from Erin - I should be set up as said before but no grill. I'll cook before hand & toss into Cambro to keep warm so nothing to cook with this day
Put me down for a dessert of some sort. I won't have my tent or table. I'll talk with Dr. X today and see if he's in.
Since the Smaugmeister will bring dessert, we will bring a side item of baked beans.
