OK, to many of us Monarch fans, we've been nothing but exhilarated by Kent Bazemore's ability to climb to that next level.

1) When he was a red-shirt frosh
2) As a role-player, he couldn't hit an FT to save his life
3) He could thrash but couldn't hit the big three
4) NBA DL
5) Sacramento
6) Lakers
7) Atlanta.....

Only one stop left...
8) NBA All-Star Game

KB's proven he has the focus and the talent to get to that next level.

Nice post Petey. Only updates I'd make is adding in his awesome community work and changing Sacramento to Golden State. I believe he's got the goods and work ethic to become an all star. It is voted on by the fans and Kent connects well bout that together with his play and it could happen.

I would love for Baze to be an all star, but he's not at that level and probably will never be. He's carved a nice role as a 3 and D type role player. Those guys are valuable as heck, but not all stars.

Yep. They don't play Defense in the All-Star game.

You may be right, but I believe KB has outgrown the "role player" label. He is a starter on a playoff team. I think it is well within the realm of possibilities that KB will be an All-Star at some point.

As to the OP, I think there is one accomplishment beyond All-Star status which remains for KB to achieve; that is NBA Champion.

Sacramento?? You may as well add Toronto in there.....??
