BYU will probably think twice about inviting a "northern, cold-weather team" to their tournament.
Karoline Stormo will win individual medalist and the team is rolling to a win in Utah. Just a few holes left and it is locked up. Dominating performance!
They came back on the last 6 holes or so and won the tournament by one stroke. They were the top team in the field (13th) but there were three other ranked teams in the field that they managed to stay ahead of. They are on a roll this year.
The team goes for its 19th straight MAC championship starting today at Silver Lake CC. Book it.

MAC Championship LIVE SCORING

That is unreal. Seriously crazy domination.
And this is the 19th MAC Women's Golf Championship. No one else has ever won.
Fifteen shot lead after round 1. KSU holds down the top four individual spots: three Flashes are even par and one +1. Everyone else is chasing.
Is there a mercy rule in golf? Because if round 2 resembles round 1 they might as well just call the tournament at that point.
KSU Women's Golf holds a 15 shot lead with all teams on the back nine of round 2.

KSU Women's Golf team is 19 strokes ahead of 2nd place Ohio U & NIU. KSU holds the top 4 individual spots.
This is like spring training for them. I think in those 19 years they have only been challenged one or two times. They have won some tournaments by 40 strokes. What I want see is for them to play well in the regional and make it to the national finals.
KSU Women's Golf has extended their lead to 24 strokes through 6 holes finished. Panthong, Stormo, & Finn are all under par thus far.
KSU Women's Golf with a 23 stroke lead through 12 holes. KSU still holds the top 4 individual spots.
They are teeing off this morning in the regionals. They have to finish in the top 6 (of 18) to make the finals. Ranked 15th nationally they are the number 4 seed in this regional.
Playing poorly. They are already 8 strokes out of the last qualifying spot. they need to turn it around. One bad round cost them last year and they are headed there once again unless they snap out of it soon.
First round is almost over and we are in 14th place nine strokes out of sixth.
12th place, 7 shots from 6th.
The rally has begun. Two out of sixth about half way through the round.
Pimnipa Panthong has vaulted into the individual lead as well with a 2-under first nine. Team shot -4 on the first nine today, the best round going on the course.
