Only 14 of the 17 schools to be interviewed were listed. Who would the other 3 be?
This is a complete clown-show. I don't understand the need to air this to the public. First, the crazy decision last month to not expand, only 24 hours later to announce they are going to expand. Now they are announcing they are holding interviews with 17 schools, like this is some sort of job interview or something.

I would add the Big 12 has been exploring expansion, collecting data for at least two years now. In addition to their own research, they have hired consultants. Not quite sure there is left to know about these schools that they'll pick up in a teleconference.

Temple and SDSU are possibilities I imagine.

Well two of the three would likely be Tulsa and Navy; because those are the only two AAC teams not listed. Just a guess.

Temple is one of the 14 listed. SDSU likely, as you said. The other 2 I have no idea. Ten of 12 AAC schools on the list.

Temple was already mentioned. San Diego State is a very good guess though.

"...The 17 schools that will make their presentations to the Big 12 include Cincinnati, Houston, BYU, South Florida, UCF, UConn, Memphis, Colorado State, Boise State, Tulane, Temple, East Carolina, SMU and New Mexico, sources said... ."
The circus is certainly in town...
Whoever isn't selected, that should be the new conference.
Air Force?
Per McMurphy's twitter:

Big 12 will hold video conferences w/17 schools; Big 12 expanding by 4 “less & less likely,” sources told @ESPN

The "less & less likely" part is very big and very discouraging news to a lot of schools, especially schools like UConn, UCF, USF, and Memphis. I believe Houston and Cincy will ultimately get the invites.

Arkansas Tech, UTRGV & Western Governors U. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao
Big 12 finally starting to realize that basically all of the candidates aren't home run picks.
My guess for the missing 3: San Diego St., UNLV and Air Force.
Opportunity for major Big 12 attention by putting these interviews on tv or at least stream them live! 02-13-banana
Good lord what a clown show.

But I guess if it accomplishes the goal of extorting a higher payout to not expand and distracts from the Rapelor fiasco even as more coeds come forward, it's a win for the B12.
San Diego State, UNLV and Navy would be my guesses. I would think Oklahoma would block any interest from Tulsa.
But the Cincinnati 247 site seems convinced we are already in and have essentially been invited.
I guess it could be a slim chance that the final 3 are from the SEC, Big 10 or PAC 12 so they are not being announced. Maybe the rumor about Nebraska and Colorado wanting back in is true.
PrisonMike is the best handle I have ever seen on this site. Congrats sir.

It seems like Cincy fans have been feeling this way since 2012.
