We had one that kept making it every year but he graduated last year.
GS has had some very impressive names in the past... Earthwind Moreland, Kiwaukee Thomas, Voncellies Allen all played on the 1999 title team. Earthwind and Kiwaukee made the NFL.
Simms McElfresh, WR who graduated last year, would have to be in the Name Hall of Fame.
Sir Calvin Wallace listed as North Texas is a grad transfer to South Alabama

glad he graduated too! I got sick of hearing that name every time he caught a pass against us!! lol

but seriously though, all i could think about was that key & peele sketch every time i heard his name
If he keeps his commitment, we are sure to have another one next year:

We can't all have a Grunky Peep.
I think Daniel Kilgore, who is now a starter for the SF 49ers, would be the App State GNOAT.
A couple more that come to mind for App are wide receiver Jim Bob Norman (late 2000s) and Frank Leatherwood (late 1990s, and yes, a linebacker).
If only Trooper Taylor would have spelled his son's name Blaze rather than Blaise, I'd argue that he should make it. When I first heard "Blaze Taylor" announced I thought it sounded like an old Flash Gordon-type character.

I could have sworn Leatherwood was a TE. Did he play both positions ?

Yep. You're correct, Tight End. Still one hell of a name for a football player, and a tight end.

IT was funniest seeing him standing behind Frank Gore. So the Jersey's read "Gore....Kilgore...aka Kill Gore."
No Deltron Hopkins?

Travesty...
Bobo Beathard also graduated last year. An annual contender
