I have to assume that it is a misprint but how is SMU/UNT not even on ESPN3?
CUSA guys are saying SMU @ UNT will be a ASN game.

******************

OU Houston is like the only decent game for week 1 IMO. CUSA should go undefeated that weekend aside from that OU Houston game which IMO, might just be a toss up.

They are giving away coffee cups for the game.

Just go to http://www.firstrowsports.eu for free streaming of every professional sport. That what I do when NFL games are blacked out in my area or some college games even.

Thanks. Getting coverage here in Singapore is a bit of a pain. If it's on AFN I can watch in old-fashioned 480P greatness with a little static thrown in. Likely won't be on local cable and everyone in the states blocks our IPs for some reason (I know, overseas...but we're supposed to get that military exception but we don't technically have a base here so the local IP is not registered with Netflix et al).

The league should do well on that first week.
We have struggled in recent years on defense when playing 1-AA (Towson, ODU, App) teams, not really establishing breathing room until late in the game. I will be very interested in seeing how the D plays.
I'm leaving out the FCS games since I don't know anything about the opponents. We'll probably win most of them by 3+ TDs but there's usually a couple that are surprisingly close.

Tulane @ Wake -10 ESPN3
Wake is pretty bad so Tulane could pull the upset, but they're breaking in a new coach on the road so it's an uphill battle

Army @ Temple -17 CBSSN
My Dad is a West Point grad so I root for them and would love to see Army in the AAC, but they have a woeful football program. Temple managed to hold onto Rhule and returns PJ Walker so they should be pretty good this year.

OU -7 @ Houston ABC
Houston's boys are gonna be fired up and take an early lead, but there's a reason the elite blue bloods rarely lose. OU's backups will be almost as fast and strong as UH's starters and will wear them down over 60 minutes.

SJSU @ Tulsa -13 CBSSN
I don't know what to expect from SJSU. They're usually bad but seem to be trending up. I'll take the homer pick.

SMU @ UNT - 10
This one is even harder to pick than the Tulsa game. I guess I'll take the home team again.

Is that bar in Orlando still giving away free beers until UCF wins a game? If so, the SCSU game may be your last chance to drink for free!

Good picks except the SMU / UNT game. UNT has a new coach, and is essentially 2 years behind SMU. SMU hit the ground running (as much as they could) last year, playing TCU and Baylor until their lack of depth started showing.

SMU is going to run away with that game, and should be a contender for #2 in the West.
