whether we get a nut kick or a promotion, I've enjoyed being in a conference with you guys. I'm glad we'll be in a conference with some of you either way.

Best of luck to everyone.

Very freaking classy. Thanks Cougar!, Best of luck to everyone. I hope hoping we sign a GOR. We would be very lucky, put the middle finger to big 12, get paid, and partner with the SEC. we can give the life boats to big 12 left behinds in due time.

Bet you guys at Yooston will be glad to move up in case Southern Miss joins the AAC (since we are 118W-61L against current AAC schools). What a hit to the ego, right?

Very interesting Mr Coog, how certain schools emphasize location, potential, academics, etc., while always conveniently leaving out head-to-head historical azz kickings.

Hayell, EVERYONE has potential if given the right opportunity...and if being in a large metro location is sooooooo important, I guess Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, Clemson, et al should move to Birmingham, Atlanta or Houston so they could be EXTRA successful..04-cheers

If it were the Power 6 and we were getting near the money of the P5 I wouldn't mind staying in this league. It's a good group of schools and very competitive.

it's a shame we are dealing with a rigged system and not a fair system. All the schools in the AAC are worthy of playing at the highest level.
Yep, I will shake your hand and say congrats. As for Bearcats#1 I will laugh at him from the family box at Texas while he is in the nosebleed seats

I hope they give BC1 a day off from the Dairy Whip if Cincy gets in. He needs to let his hair down.

Ever since I sold to Dairy Queen he has been pouting
Completely agree. I understand why we all want our schools in B12 as part of the P5. I will congratulate those that get that break and I will also continue to support my school in the B12 or AAC.
I feel that the AAC will continue to be the best place to be if you are stuck in the G5.
I also think that these will not be the last shake up in CFB, so all our schools just need to continue growing

It's not over - it may be 6-8 years but we all have a chance to prove ourselves

It would help if yall could win more than 2 games.
I know that smu is not on the short list to get into the big12 but i know dallas has its own big boy politics too so why not smu...

Shhhhhhhhh! Don't talk about the fact that school president club politics and corporate board memberships and golf partnerships will actually decide this thing!

You might interrupt the evil cycle of stupid that perpetuates all discourse here!

I hope to see the Ponies in a P5 once again. You guys have come far after the death penalty and with everything I've read regarding the $150 mill in upgrades I really hope to see you guys in a P5 in the next couple of years. 04-cheers

I agree, too. Every team in this conference deserves to be included in the P5. This is not the last train out. There will be a few more in the next few years, I believe.

And I have no ill will toward anyone here. I'm just sharing what I believe to be true. We'll see soon enough.

But those who don't make it now shouldn't give up.
If it was not for the bigger paycheck, I would be content to stay in the AAC. I like playing the schools in our conference. It is very unfortunate and unfair (I think) that the Cartel holds most of the cards and plays an outsized role in determining our fate.
