Sources have told me that Hawk has never seen or offered this kid.

That could be literally true. Does Hawk have to see a kid to offer? If he did then he really wiffed on Caleb Dean.

5-6 years ago you made the same comment "from Hawk" re Dwyane Evans of Nequa Valley near Aurora Illinois. He had WMU down with an offer and multiple others that one could argue were in WMU's orbit or slightly larger. I pined for WMU to get him on campus but he chose not as Sweater Man Rick Majerus pressed a commitment out of him on a visit. Kid went on to be a 4 year starter for the Billikens leading them in rebounding and around 15 ppg.

With Evans you had to be deaf, dumb and blind to not have heard of him. IOW Hawk was not being truthful, period.

This kid doesn't sound worthy of going to see a 3rd or 4th time but not sure how he got an offer on VC. Maybe simply distancing himself (wisely).

Sometimes offers come from assistants.
Current Bronco staff has had a excellent track record of offering & getting a big no others wanted. A couple turned out to be outstanding college players.

I read somewhere that Cameron might actually a better football prospect than basketball which of course is a Steve Hawkins type player.
Hasn't seen Cameron, never heard of Cameron

Understood and more rhetorical.

Dip says NEVER seen nor heard ....

Cameron? Ok. But as I wrote, Dip stated the same re Dwayne Evans who Danced and led his Billikens. So not sure who to believe.
