I thought we had a football scrimmage scheduled for Sat. 27 Aug.

Apparently, that has been cancelled and replaced with 2 other events scheduled for Mon 29 Aug and on Thu 20 Oct (day after preseason hoops event)

Yes, the scrimmage has been moved to Monday evening. There was some discussion of it in this thread:
