Saw this on twitter - any confirmation?

Per Auburn's OOC schedule release, UAB and Auburn will meet on Saturday, December 3rd in Bartow Arena. #GoBlazers
I took it a step further and went to Auburn's OOC schedule release. That's confirmation, unless for some reason you don't like primary sources..
I also posted it on Blazertalk and people discussed it. Further confirmation?
Yes, it was brought up in the pinned b-ball schedule thread.
No, there's no need for further confirmation or antagonistic remarks.

Please don't be a jerk. I was on my cell phone, not home, saw this come across the twitter feed, noticed that it wasn't here, and considered it big enough news to post what I saw.
Went to AU Basketball board and found this interesting discussion of AU/UAB game

Quote "With the loss of UAB's head basketball and the resulting disappointment coupled with the AU's fans excitement over Bruce Pearl"--
Don't worry -AU fans will outnumber UAB fans in Birmingham.

Someone then pointed out on the AU board that the game would be at Bartow not BJCC ="even better less tickets to buy"

So the idiot fans of the twice in a row TWENTY game loser have challenged UAB fans, Can we sell it out ?
The next time we are outnumbered in Bartow Arena will be the first, and that includes when we've played GOOD teams.
I would have thought game might have been scheduled for Friday, December 2.
I do not like the December 3 date on championship football Saturday.

I remember a Memphis game that was a little too close for comfort (or at least felt a little bit too close), but I agree...I don't believe we've ever been outnumbered in Bartow Arena.
We wasn't outnumbered when we played North Carolina, both times. I'm thinking Auburn doesn't have a chance to pull this off. Unfortunately, I will be out of town that day so I won't be able to make it.
First we have never even remotely been close to being outnumbered in Bartow.

Second I'm glad it's on Saturday. I could give two 01-scouts about any other game other than ours and it woks out better for me and the eight people I am bringing.
Championship Saturday for me will be Auburn vs UAB at Bartow...
Exactly. That's the only game that day.

That's fine...and that's true...for you. There are certain economic considerations that should be made with regards to other major competing sporting events happening that impact our city's sports fan population.

Nothing to do about it now though.
Game will be a sell out no matter when it is played.
I'm not sure what an LSU/Tennessee football game has to do with when we play Auburn?

The AD leaves a couple of extra empty seats?
