ACC Network will launch by August 2019 & ACC extends conference grant of rights thru 2036, sources told @ESPN

I don't get the time line. Why 3 years down the road??? The article I read basically stated that ESPN would copy the $EC format. So WHY will it take 3 years when they were able to get the $EC up and going in less than year??? Is it do to the Raycom situation and inventory??? I would think this could be done faster, but better late than never I guess.

Raycom bought a chunk from ESPN, kept about half and sold the other half of what they bought to Fox. Fox has no incentive to sell.

BTW.....ACC ACC ACC is just not our style.

Probably related to when ESPN renegotiates with major cable companies WRT bundles.

Nope! I only worship God. But smart enough to not be so consistently negative that I make myself look really silly and narrow minded with my comments. I will wait for the details before I come to a conclusion whether or not this is a good deal for the conference. Not that my opinion matters.
