And now my co-workers are wondering why I'm laughing like a crazy person at work. 03-lmfao
FWIW, the Dec. 5 game at The Citadel has moved from an originally scheduled 7pm tip to now at 6pm and will be streamed live via ESPN-3.
Indirectly related news...

...today the Big 10+4 announced it is going to move to 20 conference games starting with the '18-'19 season.

The ACC announced about a year ago it will be moving to a 20 game schedule starting with the '19-'20 season primarily to provide more inventory to ESPN as it kicks off its new network starting that school year in fall of 2019.

I will not be surprised to see the SEC and/or Pac 12 follow suit at some point. The Big 12-2 already plays a round-robin 18-game schedule and will likely stay that way.

This may be good news for the networks and fans of these conferences/schools, but it isn't good news for the rest of college hoops (IMO). Especially if the SEC & Pac 12 take away another potential 52 or so games that have been mostly scheduled with mid-majors or smaller conferences.

The excellent CBB blogger, Chris Dobbertean, shared an email with me not too long ago advising he won't be surprised if more of the P5 programs eventually start avoiding the early season tournaments at neutral sites (e.g., Bahamas, Vegas, Cancun, etc.). His hypothesis is that they will ditch those and replace with home games for revenue-generation purposes. ESPN funds most of these early season tournaments though so we'll see...
Saw where the Dukes play one of those secret scrimmages against American on 11/4. Would like to see them play one of those hurricane relief exhibitions that a lot of other schools are playing as well. This team needs as many reps against D1 competition prior to the start of the season as possible.

Yep. I wish the Dukes could head over to UVA to play at JPJ Arena. UVA had a nice crowd for their blue-white scrimmage this past weekend. I imagine they'd fill it up - and nice revenue for relief - if they hosted the Dukes.

Thanks. We have that HERE, but feel free to share in that thread if you see any updates for our former Student Athletes and I will update post 1.
Both the Blue Ribbon Yearbook and the Kenpom ratings are out- two good measures of the teams that the Dukes will face this year. I put the Kenpom rating in parentheses and the Blue Ribbon prediction next to each Dukes' opponent on their schedule.

FWIW, Florida International's official athletics website is still leaving our tip time at their place on Dec. 16 as TBD, but they have added that the game will be streamed live via conferenceusa.com. Unsure at the moment if that is PPV or free.

Unfortunately, C-USATV is not free. There is talk that it will soon be an app available via ROKU like the CAA has. Not sure if it will be free at that point or still PPV.

I believe it is just $6.95 per 24 hour period, or $9.95 per month, but if you get it for a month it charges you for every month after that if you don't cancel. I'm looking forward to it becoming available via ROKU and keeping my fingers crossed that it will be free then like the CAA is.
richmond got waxed by jacksonville state 94 - 61. I hope they dont hurt our SOS too much
FYI...the Dukes' Dec. 16 game at Florida International has been set for a 7:30pm tip...
