What is the deal with the men's team continually playing at Middle Tennessee on Sundays? This year its New Years Day on top of that.
First game ever on New years day

Probably to allow fans of the visiting time to travel that long distance to go see the game.

More people will travel to see a Saturday afternoon/evening game than will on a Sunday, especially if it is a Sunday evening game as last year.
What's the deal with us playing the f_u's twice a year still? Is the conference ever going to do something to help itself?
Yep. It's going to F U

This.
Two away games at Middle Tennessee? I am guessing the second game is actually at home?

Home games vs WKU, Charlotte, ODU, Middle and La Tech - very nicely done...but the FU H&H's make me wanna YACK (again)
Is this the year we divide teams?

Yes
And they went with the same scheduling for men's/women's games. The conference must really not want people to attend women's games.

Preach brother. So many times last year I missed women's games because of conflicting times.
Doing the schedule any other way would be more expensive for the schools, and it ensures there are no venue conflicts. Since most fans don't attend woman games, it only affects the diehards.
No problem with the men's & women's teams playing the same team on the same day.

Do wonder why both can't play at home or both can't play on the road.

Because then someone in the conference office would have to do more than a search-and-replace for "home" and "away" on the men's schedule.

You think those Pokemon are going to catch themselves?!?!?

That's not as easy as it seems, if you do a simple search and replace... then for a moment they all become either home or away, then from that point, you won't know which ones to reverse. It's a 3 step process at least, but I am glad someone in the office over there can do it.

except that women's games could be scheduled on Fridays and Sundays (as they used to be) to avoid direct conflicts.
