The Butkus Award is given annually to the nation's top linebacker.

Old Dominion rising senior linebacker TJ Ricks was named to the Butkus Award Watch List. Ricks has also been named to the Nagurski Trophy Watch List. The Nagurski Trophy is given to the best defensive player in college football.

Ricks led Conference USA in tackles last season, compiling an ODU record 123 tackles.

He's also on the Nagurski watch list. And Pascal is on the Biletnikoff list.

Some great players on that list.

Lawry to the Doak Walker watch list (for RB's) and Pascal gets on the Paul Hornung watch list (most versatile player).
