This is merely a guess on my part, but from what I've seen of the current players, my thought is that Marcus, Jr. and Deshawn Watkins will start at the point and two guard. Jalen Jackson at either the three or four spot. Lis at the five, and probably Marius at either the three or four.
Deondre Burns should receive more playing time this season, and he can play either the point or the two spot. Stetson will get minutes at the three spot.
Now comes the unpredictable. The new players. Andre Jones will receive more playing time then the normal freshman, IMO. He's a real talent. And could even possibly break into the starting lineup. Since I've never seen Ryan Pippins and Corbyn Jackson, the jury is still out on them. However, both seem to have nice credentials. Biggie Goldman might be the wild card. He's an outstanding shooter, and there is always room for a shooter. Plus he's 6'9 or 10", and that's always a plus. And he handles the ball extremely well for a big kid.
All in all, that's a pretty darn good roster from where I sit. Maybe the most talented we've ever started the season with. Can they win 30 games? Since that's only happened once in the history of the school, I don't see that happening again. Is it a squad that could win another Sun Belt Championship? Very definitely. But other teams will probably improve, plus Coastal Carolina will be a tough program. So all I can predict is that it will be a fun team to watch, and we'll win a lot of games.
