I'm friggin dying for info to come out officially from the B1G regarding the new media deal. The money is impressive but the exposure is probably more important IMO. I imagine looking at how successful the CBS/SEC & NBC/Notre Dame relationships are that we would want the equivalent of that with an OTA network. Fox obviously wants to pump up FS1 & FS2 but as a fan I'd also like to see a consistent 3:30ish game OTA. We'll get on ABC in market and ESPN or ESPN2 out of market but what about those living in Texas or Cali or Florida? Cord cutters still watch TV, they just don't want to pay for it.
Fox can even throw the better matchup on FS1 just as long as I get an OTA per week at a reliable timeslot I'm good.
Wouldn't be shocked if that was the case.

http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journ...g-Ten.aspx says that the rights are actually similar for both Fox and ESPN, with the difference being getting first choice of weeks to pick first, and the championship game.
CBS has true tier 1, first pick every week.
