The words that keep coming to mind for me is consistent and persistent. He never wavered. Rest in peace Ronnie. There are few here that I would shed a tear for, he would be one.

Wow! So sad to hear. GA was probably the most loyal fan that I've ever seen. We have truly lost a great one.

This place won't be the same without the GA. Always enjoyed his passion for the Tigers. Never met him, but feel like I lost a friend. RIP Gray Avenger, you will be missed.

Didn't he post as recently as a few days ago? I had no idea he was having health issues. I loved his passion for football and was a firm believer that the school needs to put football first. It will not be the same around here at all

I got a chance to meet GA at the Memphis-Tulsa football game in Tulsa this past fall, after many years of conversing with him on the board. He was a true fan (fanatic) and a quality human being. He will be missed.

I would like to make a motion that one of our boards/sub-boards be named in his honor. If ANYONE ever deserved to be memorialized on mt.org, it was The Gray Avenger!

Sorry to hear this, even though I didn't know him personally, and we didn't always agree on things here on the board, he was a true blue Tiger fan and will be missed. RIP, the sky in Memphis will be PMS280 in his honor!

As a member of the former Tiger football player family, I would like to express my gratitude for his consistent support of this program and University over the years.
