Not in HS, Godwin went to Hampton and Dickens was at Bethel, arch rivals. Dickens played in HS with Cam Bacote and is close to the Bacote family. Also add Aaron to the above list, another hometown guy, which makes them a fan favorite. Godwin and Dickens played on Boo's EYBL team in the spring and summer of 2016.
Dickens had close to 30 offers out of HS including VaTech and UVa.

Thank DaBig for adding Aaron to my list. I don't know how I could leave him off. One of my favorite Monarchs.
I hope we get Dajour. He will certainly fill a need next year and have a chance to be a big contributor. He can certainly draw enough attention to open up things for others.

Correct...meant year after next. I really needs another year to get stronger. He could be a force if he puts in the work.

Be confident that he is exploring other options but it can't hurt that there are players on the team that he has played with before and coaches he knows pretty well. I hope he commits and I hope he develops mentally and physically. He could be a huge part of our program for 3 years.
Since this is after the spring signing period, it is not 'official' until he enrolls in classes.
Ed may be wrong. He will have 3 years of eligibility if he cannot play this year. If he can play this year he should have 4 years of eligibility.
