A Saturday ESPN game would be great.

Nice!
This is Outstanding.
Don't screw this up Appy. 05-mafia

Great news for App, but only good for the conference of they win. Good luck. I think you will win.
That... is... awesome.
Wow. This is incredible. I'm jealous. Congrats guys.
Seriously, don't screw this up!

You have a HOME game vs KNOWN opponent from the Atlantic through the Pacific.

Personally I'd rather you smack Michigan again and the POS coach they have instead!
This is excellent news for the Belt. Perception is shifting and ESPN knows they have a potential upset on their hands. The only way this hurts conference perception is if you get your butt whooped, so don't.

A win for you is a win for all of us. It will make ESPN take a longer look at putting match-ups like these on the major network instead of "Indiana vs Wake Forest." Could potentially effect whether or not our game against GT ends up on an ESPN channel mid-season (also dependent upon how the two teams are playing).
Just a FYI.....don't try the Fainting Goat play against them......it won't work.

It gets a lot of attention though.
This FBS thing isn't working out at all...... [SMIRKING FACE]

We let you win one.....what more can you possibly want?
I was hoping that you'd beat them to prove how difficult it is to win in Boone. Now I'm not so sure...

Not at all. We could be playing Mercer, dammit.

On PBS.....
It's funny how all of the naysayers for moving to FBS have slowly disappeared in the past year. A (very) few have been man enough to admit they were wrong, but most of the others are still bitter and/or trying to figure out how to decide between pulling for App or the favorite "big school" in the ACC.
I don't think they have gone away, just in hiding, unfortunately, if App has a couple of back to back bad years, they will return giving us the "I told you so, we should have never left the FCS" speech.

Mercer on the road too. And paying 75% of the cost of being in FBS to do it. But, hey, you could jettison all of these Sun Belt schools so that you could pretend that the Southern or the Colonial is the reincarnation of the Ivy league.

But I'm sure that over at AGS, they'll spin this as 'we'll we get one game a year on ESPN for one of our teams and gameday once a year for one of our teams'.

Apps game with Miami isn't a 'cute story bro' (like all FCS games) game, but a straight up decision by ESP Friggin N to say...With everything else that week in FBS, App-Miami is a credible game and we think our viewers want to see it. How many national championships does Miami have?

Oh, please win the game. That would be awesome.

I've never been a person to have "two teams" and really don't understand the concept. I went to school at ECU yet feel no loyalty to their athletics program. I watch every App football game and have for the past 11 years or so yet only watched ECU football while at school.

Despite the fact App was even in FCS, I was far more knowledgeable about FCS football than FBS at the time.
