4* on Scout and ESPN, 3.7 Composite on 247. Rising Sophomore. Only got about 100 mins all year last year, playing behind two upper class-men. Haven't read/seen much about him beyond just a quick look at the stats, but his rebound numbers are outrageous (31 rebounds in 104 minutes?) but only 7-21 from the field and 9-14 from the line (although 3-6 from 3pt).

Exciting stuff. This is Dunleavy's first transfer/recruit.

I took a quick look at this kids HS highlights and he looks solid, he’s definitely a physical banger inside. His highlights start out for the first 40 seconds showing him rebounding, blocking shots and playing defense. He had a lot of P5 offers as well, definitely a good pickup.

Looking at his stats it looks like he only played 1 season, is that correct? If so that’s great you will have him for 3 years.

Yes, only payed one season. Averaged only a couple minutes a game. But great experience playing plenty of ranked schools and big time games.

So we will have him for three years. Theoretically. This is a rebuild program and it is todays NCAA. Dunleavy could even be snatched away in three years if he turns things around. Looks like he is getting the right peices in place though. His hire of Doug Stewart from Nevada for his staff as the Associate Head Coach/recruiter seems to be paying off. We haven't gotten a kid like this in a while. And its always the first big transfer/recruit that is the hardest. Once other kids see talent coming here, they will be more willing to take a risk on what Dunleavy is selling.
3 years!! Nice!!
He is from Houston (Cypress area).
