Juwan Brescacin was drafted by the Calgary Stampede 15th overall in the second round last night. Brescacin is a native of Alberta province, which are like states in Canada.

Now I just need to find a way to watch CFL football...

They show CFL football at times on ESPN 2 during the summer.
I remember going to Florida in the summer for vacation in early 80'S and thinking watching CFL football at night in the Summer on ESPN was the greatest thing ever.

Ah, the little things we love and remember as a youth.03-cloud9

He is from Missasauga, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto--not close to Alberta, which is in western Canada, next to British Columbia.

That is so awesome as I used to think the same thing. Have not thought about that in years! Thanks for this post.
Watchespn streams most CFL games. Preseason starts 1st week of June...love it.

Great for those needing football 365.

I thought he was from Ontario, but the article cited Alberta. Think they meant that Calgary was in Alberta, not Brescacin.

I will always remember that from hearing the WWF ring announcer 30 yrs ago say all the time "from Calgary, Alberta Canada....Brett "The Hitman" Hart."

Good for Brescacin. I always felt he was underutilized in the Huskie offense. I like his skill set and I hope he's successful in the pro game.
