So with all this talk of the Big 12 expanding, what would we have to do exactly to get it up to standards ?

It's better than half the stadiums in P5 conferences now but with huge $ many are starting more renovations. Vols for one.
Press box needs to be modernized and reconfigured. Sound system also needs to be fixed. Other than that, I think the old lady is in pretty good shape. More chairbacks are being added before next season.

We probably need to get rid of the fake field and revert to grass, not the grass we used to have that turned brown in November. There have been quite a few places that have gone back to real grass. It's amazing how lush and beautiful some of the grass fields are today.
Why are you yelling?

How about a dome and free popcorn?

Have you been to the bathrooms or concessions at Bryant-Denny for instance? There are a lot of crap 80k plus seat stadiums in this country.

Crap is a natural occurrence in bathrooms.

LOL. We are about to demolish a stadium 10 tomes better than that place. Just saying...I mean sure the LB is just fine.

Old as she may be, The Liberty Bowl is a landmark building with a storied history. Just last night I was watching a Tonight Show with Johnny Carson from January 3, 1984. Back then he was talking about all the bowl games (if he only knew!). He started reeling them off and mentioned The Liberty Bowl. May not be the most state of the art building, but it's better than a lot of those other fields. Go Tigers!
I'm just happy it doesn't have the trough urinals like some older stadiums.
Other than upgrading/updating the press box and elevators, the Liberty Bowl is a great stadium. Anybody been to Scott Field at MSU lately? I haven't been to many other SEC stadiums, but I can't imagine the site lines of any of them being better than the Liberty Bowl. At Scott Field, you literally have to pee on the wall. Gross.

Ole Miss stadium is nothing to write home about. Neither is Neyland.
Anybody ever been to War Memorial in Little Rock? Talk about a dump.

Liberty Bowl is much nicer than a lot of other stadiums I have been to including those in Knoxville, Oxford and Starkville.

Ole Miss and State used to play most of their home games in Jackson

Agree. The only thing Neyland currently has going for it is its size. The upper deck concourse is s*** and if you walk the perimeter of the stadium, it is a rust bucket. I can't believe with all the SEC revenue they are pulling in they can't throw a coast of Rustoleum on that thing.
