Doing that to Metallica's "One".... now that is a good choice...

Interesting on their analytics.... BUT IMHO, I think the meh of Iron Fist could have tainted this particular series of shows.... But I have watched all of the series and I hold The Defenders in pretty high regard for their series.

Interesting read....

Inhumans does look kind of suck

I liked SHIELD as I got into it.
So I DRV'd Marvel's Inhumans Friday night and just got down to watching it.......

The old saying "that's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back" doesn't even begin to describe how BAD it truly was.

First, the whole "Inhumans" thing is nothing more than a rip off of the X-Men, and not even a good one.

Second, the "King and Queen" (ie: the good guys) are about as unlikable as unlikable get. Black Bolt comes off as an arrogant prick and the Medusa is full of herself.

Third, the "bad guy" Maximus is probably the most likable character on the show.

I can only hope that "The Gifted" is better...... And that's not a very high bar.

I never had a problem with the Inhuman story line that popped into a animated Spiderman series I was watching last year but the Inhuman angle in AoS and what looks to be more its own deal in Inhumans seems just to be not there. I am wondering if Marvel is overextending its hype train now.

Comics aside, I couldn't help but think that the introduction of the "Inhumans" into the AoS as well as potentially adding them to the MCU is nothing more than a lame attempt to cover up the fact that Fox has the rights to the X-Men.

It seems forced. It seems that they're trying to substitute Inhumans for the X-Men to try and keep some structure to various storylines that involve the X-Men.

Personally, I'd rather see if they can work out a deal with Fox for the X-Men like they did with Sony & Spidey and spare us the Inhumans.
OK, this isn't a Netflix show, but I just watched "The Gifted" from Monday night.

To say it's 10X better than Inhumans would be doing a disservice.

I thought it was excellent. It seemed more "real" if that makes any sense.

Combine that with the fact that Inhumans was GOD AWFUL, and I think Marvel fans will like The Gifted.

Kind of figured this would happen. That said these two guys were together so to speak. Hopefully LC S2 is good... S1 was fairly decent.

NYC Comic Con premiere for The Punisher cancelled because of that Las Vegas shooting.

Watched The Gifted tonight - great suggestion. Yes, MUCH better than Inhumans. They made a lot of very strange choices for that show.

MCU was completely trying to replace the X-men with Inhumans. The fact that it failed as spectacularly in live action as it did in the comics was predictable. People LOVE the X-men, and hitch is why I'm glad that FOX is at least trying and seeing success with the Gifted and Legion.

I hope they can get The Hulk right. I hated Ang Lee's version. I thought Ed Norton's was pretty decent but was missing "the thing" to make it great. I did enjoy the old 70's-80's tv show (wish I had finished it before NetFlix dropped it off the map). And there was the animated Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. tv series that I thought was pretty good once I got into it and how there could be all these different colored Hulks.

Aside from that, I am thinking Thor: Ragnarok is going to be the best in the Thor series and might move up in my favorite Marvel universe films too.

Ragnarok is already shaping up to be the best Thor movie out of the three. I enjoyed the first two, although I will freely admit the second one felt a little dour. Getting Taika Waititi was a masterstroke by Feige, and Ragnarok is gonna be a bona fide hit.

2 was way better than the first one though...

When I first opened the thread the video image didn't load up, so all I could think was "Marvel turned Kool Aid Man into a superhero?"

Heh... there is probably one like the Kool Aid Man in some 4th Tier comic somewhere in their catalog LOL.
