Another future hall of gamer gone
And the program is in worse shape than cal left it
The blood is not on the hands of the real fans who supported him
Yall should be ashamed of yourselves.
Enjoy.
I know you will. For now.
out come the aliases...
What does shame have to do with any of this short of hiring Josh Pastner in the first place. Time to move forward!

Yep. Oh and while you're at don't forget to rub Wolo's belly to make him feel better about his buddy leaving

Josh may make the hall of fame ...for program wreckers...

You will never make the Trolling hall of fame
While fully being aware this is probably a fishing / 'ha ha' post by the OP...

Count me in the majority that think JP is good guy and minority that think JP could be a very good coach if he figures things out.

Moving to GT is the best thing that could happen to both sides.

1. JP can apply what he learned at Memphis to a new challenge that is likely better suited to his talents and personality. I think he could do quite well at GT if he learns from his experience here.

2. We can move forward with a new coach that doesn't have to follow Cal and can forge his own path with a clean program that was left in institutionally good shape (even if the roster is depleted).

This is the definition of a win/win and I think all parties, JP and Memphis, should be happy with this result.

How can he learn from his experience here when none of it is his fault, he thinks he has done a good job , but players have let him down and fans are delusional
I just happen to think that the fans created a horribly poor environment whether they realized it or not.

People can and do believe what They will (like the petulant suggestion that I operate under more than one alias but that is neither here nor there) but any casual observer know that the so called fans were complicit in this outcome.

I hope they will be happy someday with whatever choice is made but the track record does not suggest that they will be.

And he would be correct.
But some will never understand that he is.

He will do very well at Georgia tech. They will actually appreciate the wins they will get while our fans will continue to scoff. The everyone gets a trophy psyche has invaded the memphis fan base and it will most likely never recover.

Yall should be very proud. Well done.

You cannot be serious.
Pastner's gone because of the idiots and Bowen will be next due to them also. Hide & watch!

It’s most certainly a win for us but Josh will get totally slaughtered in the ACC.

This is too great a day for our university to let your silliness darken the mood.

Two years from now, which I thought was the earliest we would be able to fire Josh, his name will be a distant memory, and he will be finishing his 2nd straight losing season at GTech.

Vernon is playing a bunch of crazy Josh clips right now - too funny.
The second I even saw the title of this thread and who started it it reminded me I needed to put the O.P. on ignore. I'm about to rectify that situation...bad overlook on my part.
