I watched the video that came with it, aren't we also targeting that Reese kid from Pelham? It looks like he has some nice size and hands

We are but I'm afraid he's played himself out of our league IMO. It's still possible though. It's worth noting Williams beat him out for 6A POTY.

Good to hear Javien is excited to be playing for Coach Ehsan.
Odd to hear Haase said nothing to him.

Wouldn't that be tampering at that point (for the Stanford coach to speak with a UAB signee)?

I found it odd as well but I thought that may be the case.

That and it's very unprofessional to ask a kid a question like that.

What question?
Congrats to Javien. Looking forward to seeing what he does in green and gold.

Great run of success in getting some of the top talent in the state to UAB. Hopefully that trend will continue over the next couple of years with some important upcoming recruiting classes.

I really don't know. I think at minimum before he left officially he could have simply sent the two signees a text saying best of luck.
John Petty, not Javien Williams, won Mr. Basketball. 6A Player of the Year is not the Mr. Basketball award.

It was a big mess up. I'll take responsibility even though I'm not the author or the editor.

Russ is one of our student contributors and he just didn't know the difference. We try to make a point to give students a place to contribute.

Unfortunately our editor isn't available until later tonight. It will get corrected I can assure you.
By all means give students the opportunity and don't let them take the criticisms to heart. There's a lot that can be learned here, and then there's one hell of a lot of grumpy old man snark. 03-lol

some would brush off the criticism and make excuses.
the sites willingness to acknowledge and correct, in my opinion, works to legitimize future reports

We're still in our infancy. We have a complete revamp coming within a week or so. New domain, name, logo, etc. We owe you all for engaging.
